1995年生まれの16歳。
3歳からピアノを始め、7歳でオーケストラと共演、9歳で国際デビューを果たす。
2004年ピティナ・ピアノコンペティションJr.G級（16歳以下）出場最年少の8歳で金賞。2005年全日本学生音楽コンクール史上最年少優勝。2009年アジア太平洋国際ショパンピアノコンクール（韓国）ジュニア部門優勝。2011年ショパン国際コンクールinAsia アジア大会、コンチェルトの最高部門で金賞。第5回福田靖子賞受賞。
これまでに、N.Y.カーネギーホールへ4度出演、パリ、モスクワ、ポーランド、ブラジル等に招かれ、V.スピヴァコフ指揮モスクワ・ヴィルトゥオーゾ、F.ブリュッヘン指揮18世紀オーケストラ、J.ジャッド指揮ブラジル響と共演。ポーランドには、「ショパンとヨーロッパ」国際音楽祭他、コンチェルトソリストとして度々招かれた。国内では、九響、読売日響、東京フィル、兵庫芸術文化センター管、日本フィル等と共演。フランスのLCIテレビのドキュメンタリー、日本テレビ「深夜の音楽会」、テレビ朝日「題名のない音楽会」、NHKBSi「みんなのショパン」、NHKBSプレミアム「クラシック倶楽部」、山口放送のテレビやラジオ番組に度々出演。
2010年14歳でEMI ClassicsよりCDメジャーデビュー。発売記念のリサイタルは完売、追加公演サントリーホール大ホールで日本人最年少となるリサイタルを開催した。ショパン生誕200年記念グランドレセプション（ポーランド大使館主催）では、『ショパン・パスポート』を授与された。
2011年セカンドアルバム「熱情」（EMI Classics）をリリース。4月カーネギーホールワイルリサイタルホールに、N.Y.リサイタルデビュー（Japan NYC　Festival　音楽監督：小澤征爾）、5月東京オペラシティコンサートホールでリサイタル、10月H.シェレンベルガー指揮日本フィルと共演ほか各地でリサイタル、12月にはモスクワでのスピヴァコフとのコンチェルト共演ほか、サンクト・ペテルブルク芸術広場音楽祭（芸術監督：テミルカーノフ）にソロリサイタルデビューを果たした。
2012年は、兵庫芸術文化センター管、広響との共演ほか、大阪ザ・シンフォニーホール、鎌倉芸術館他、長野、北海道でリサイタル予定。

　山口県宇部市出身。山口県の栄光文化賞を3度授賞。
　2007年桐朋学園大学音楽学部付属子供のための音楽教室に特待生として入学。
　2008年?09年東京倶楽部特別助成金を受ける。
　2011年4月より、桐朋学園大学付属高校音楽科に全額奨学金特待生として入学。9月よりロームミュージックファンデーション奨学生。
　8歳より、二宮裕子氏に師事し現在に至る。

受賞歴

2001年（5歳）

世界最大規模の参加人数を誇るピティナ・ピアノコンペティションに４年連続で全国決勝大会進出。

2003年（7歳）

第9回フッペル平和祈念鳥栖ピアノコンクールB（小学1･2年）部門第１位、こども大賞。

2004年（8歳）

第28回ピティナピアノコンペティションでJr.G級（16歳以下の部門）最年少第1位、金賞。ソナーレ賞、読売新聞社賞。
第5回ショパン国際ピアノコンクールinASIA小学1･2年の部アジア大会金賞。

2005年（9歳）

第59回全日本学生音楽コンクール（小学校の部）第１位、井口愛子賞、野村賞、都築音楽賞、毎日小学生新聞賞。小学4年生での全国1位は、同コンクール59年の歴史で初という快挙。

2009年（13歳）

第1回アジア太平洋国際ショパンピアノコンクール（韓国）ジュニア部門第１位。

2011年（15歳）

第12回ショパン国際コンクール・イン・アジア　コンチェルトC部門アジア大会金賞。

2011年第5回福田靖子賞選考会において第1位（福田靖子賞）受賞。

演奏歴

2003年（7歳）及び2004年（8歳）

アクロス福岡シンフォニーホールにて九州交響楽団と共演。

2005年（9歳）

パリ（コルトーホール）、ニューヨーク（カーネギーホール：AADGT主催）にてコンサート出演。 ＜カーネギーホールでの模様は、フランスのテレビ局によりヨーロッパ全土及び東京MXテレビ系で放映された。＞

1月

2006年（10歳）

日本テレビ『深夜の音楽会』にて読売日本交響楽団と東京オペラシティコンサートホールにて共演。

10月

カーネギーホール大ホールコンサート出演。

12月

モスクワデビュー。ウラディミール・スピヴァコフ指揮、モスクワ・ヴィルトゥオージとモーツァルト：ピアノ協奏曲第26番を共演。＜3社のテレビ局と33社の新聞社での記者会見が行われ、その模様は海外にも流れる＞

3月

2007年（11歳）

サントリーホールにて、岩村力指揮、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団と共演。

4月

アクロス福岡シンフォニーホールにて、デビューコンサート（主催：読売新聞社西部本社他）。ピアノソロおよび、ベートーヴェン：協奏曲第1番を福岡室内合奏団（指揮：後藤龍伸）と共演。

5月と11月

フランスのテレビ局LCI（Mr.Jacques Colletによるドキュメンタリーフィルム）に取材を受ける。

1月

2008年（12歳）

フランスLCI TVにて、C.エッショバッハのオーディション風景の番組が放映され、反響を呼んだ。

2月

モスクワ及びサンクトペテルブルクにて、スピヴァコフ指揮モスクワ・ヴィルトゥオージとベートーヴェン：協奏曲第1番を共演。

6月

3度目の、N.Y.カーネギーホールでのコンサートに出演。

9月

ポーランドデビュー。クラコフフィルハーモニー管弦楽団と、ベートーヴェン第1番とショパン第2番の協奏曲を共演。（指揮のTadeusz Strugalaが急遽降板し、代役のPawel Przytocki指揮により共演。）

12月

東京オペラシティコンサートホールにて「16人のピアニストによるベートーヴェン：ソナタ全曲演奏会」に出演。

1月

2009年（13歳）

日本経済新聞社主催「第362回日経ミューズサロン」出演。

1月

東京オペラシティコンサートホールにて、アニハーノフ指揮、東京ニューシティ管弦楽団とベートーヴェン第1番とショパン第2番の協奏曲を共演。

8月

ポーランド・ワルシャワにて、第5回「ショパンとヨーロッパ」国際音楽祭（ショパン協会主催）に出演、古楽界の巨匠フランス・ブリュッヘン指揮『18世紀オーケストラ』と、モーツァルト第20番とショパン第2番の協奏曲を共演。

11月

韓国のソウル、テグ2都市で、コンクール優勝者コンサートに出演。

12月

リオ･デ･ジャネイロ及びサン・パウロで、J.ジャッド指揮ブラジル交響楽団とベートーヴェン協奏曲第1番を共演。Dデビュー記念プレミアコンサート開催（サントリーホールブルーローズ）

2月

2010年（14歳）

EMI CLASSICSよりデビューアルバムリリース。ポーランドに再び招かれて、ポツナンフィルハーモニー管弦楽団とモーツァルト第26番とショパン第2番の協奏曲を共演。

4月3日

CDデビュー記念リサイタル「ピティナ十代の演奏家シリーズ」に出演（浜離宮朝日ホール）。

5月15日

追加公演「14歳のショパンリサイタル」に出演（サントリーホール大ホール）。ショパンソロと協奏曲1番（ミハウ・ドヴォジンスキ指揮）を演奏。

8月

長野・ホクト文化ホール、横浜みなとみらいホール（大）、名古屋しらかわホールにて、ソロリサイタル。

 

そのほか、10月には北九州国際音楽祭、日本テレビ系「深夜の音楽会」（読売日本交響楽団）、兵庫県立芸術文化センター管弦楽団との共演、来年3月には鳥取、山口、大阪での￥演奏。

4月3日

2011年（15歳）

カーネギーホールワイルリサイタルホールで、N.Y.リサイタルデビュー。Japan NYC　Festival（音楽監督：小澤征爾）の一環として開催され好評を博した。

5月8月

東京オペラシティコンサートホールでソロリサイタル

10月

ハンス・イェルク・シェレンベルガー指揮日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団とグリーグのピアノ協奏曲第1番を共演。（東京・横浜）

11月

フィリアホール「女神との出会い」シリーズへの出演をはじめ、宇部、三原、平塚、焼津にてリサイタル。

12月

モスクワでスピヴァコフとの共演、サンクト・ペテルブルク芸術広場音楽祭（芸術監督：ユーリ・テミルカーノフ）でソロリサイタルデビューが決定。

2012年

広島交響楽団定期演奏会、兵庫県立芸術センター管弦楽団への出演ほか、大阪ザ・シンフォニーホールや長野でのソロリサイタルが決まっている。

Profile

Born in Yamaguchi in 1995, she began playing the piano at the age of three.
Aimi had been the finalist of the PTNA Piano Competition, one of the biggest competitions in the world, for the 4th straight year since 2001.
In 2003 she won the first prize at the Huper Piano Concours in Tosu.
In 2004 she became the youngest winner(Gold Prize) in the PTNA Piano Competition (Junior G grade for under 16 years old) at the age of 8.
She also won the first-golden prize in Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia at 1st and 2nd grade Elementary School category.
In 2005 she won the first prize at the 59th Student Music Competition of Japan at the age of 10, along with Aiko Iguchi Prize, Nomura Prize, Tsuzuki Music Prize as well as Mainichi Shogakusei Shinbun Prize. She became the youngest winner in the 59-year history of this competition (Sponsored by MAINICHI News Paper).
In 2009 she won the first prize at the 1st Asia-Pacific International F.Chopin Competition in Teagu, Korea at Junior category.
In 2011 she won the first-golden prize at the Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia(at Concerto C Category.)
In August 2011 she was awarded the 5th Mdm Yasuko Prize.

Aimi made her concert debut with the Orchestra in Kyusyu,Japan at the age of 8.
At the age of 9, she also made her international debut concert at La Salle Cortot Hall in Paris. Afterwords she appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York(sponsored by AADGT). The concert at Carnegie was broadcasted across Europe and Tokyo Metropolitan Television by France Televisions (LCI).
In 2006 Aimi appeared as a soloist with Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall on Nippon Television's program "Late-evening Concert" in January. It was the first time for Yomiuri Nippon Symphony to play with the youngest soloist in ten years since it played with violinist Mayuko Kamio.
She achieved another great success in the concert at Carnegie Hall in October.
In December she collaborated with Vladimir Spivakov, playing concerto in Moscow. The press conference after the concert packed by three TV stations and 33 newspaper publishers was broadcasted overseas.
In 2007 Aimi performed as a soloist with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at Suntory Hall in Tokyo in March. She made debut concert at Across Fukuoka Symphony Hall in April. Again, Aimi was interviewed on the French TV station (LCI) in May and November which was broadcasted in France. At the program, she received a special lesson from visiting Maestro Eschenbach at NHK Hall, which produced a lot of reaction.
In 2008 she performed as a soloist playing Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1 with Spivakov and his Virtuoso Orchestra in Moscow and St. Petersburg in February. She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York for the 3rd. time.
In September, she has performed Beethoven No. 1 and Chopin No. 2 concertos in one night with Krakow Philharmonic in Poland.
She was selected as one of the major pianist among 16 others of Japan and performed No. 5 and 10 by Beethoven on New Years Eve for the series of "I love Beethven" at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.
In 2009, she appeared at Nikkei Hall in Tokyo(sponsored by Nikkei Shimbun Inc.). She also appeared again with Beethoven No. 1 and Chopin No. 2 concertos with Tokyo New City Orchestra at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.
In August, she has performed Mozart No. 20 and Chopin No. 2 concertos in one night with the Orchestra of the 18th Century, conducted by Frans Bruggen in Warsaw, Poland. This concert has been held in the series of prestigious “Chopin and his Europe“ international festival sponsored by the Chopin Institute in Poland.
In November, she has performed both in Seoul and Teagu in Korea in the winners' concert of the competition.
In December, she has performed both in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo with Brazil Symphony Orchestra, conducted by James Judd.

In February 2010, Aimi made her CD debut by EMI Classics.
She also has been invited again in Poland, has performed Mozart No. 26 and Chopin No. 2 concertos with Poznan Philharmonic.
In April, she has performed solo recital at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall(Sponsored by PTNA).
In May, she appeared at Suntory Hall and has performed solo and concerto in one night.
In August and October, she has toured in Nagano, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kitakyusyu, for solo recital.
In October, Aimi appeared again as a soloist with Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra on Nippon Television's program "Late-evening Concert".
In December, Aimi also appeared as soloist of Chopin concerto at the TV program “Chopin for all“ by NHK BS hi. She was given “Chopin Passport” by Poland government at the Grand Reception of Poland Embassy, celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Chopin's Birth.
In March 2011, the 2nd CD will be released by EMI Classics with the program of Appassionata and Pathetique by Beehoven, and Kinderszenen by Schumann. On April 3rd ,she has performed at the Carnegie hall again, and gave her first debut of solo recital. The concert is in the series of Japan NYC Festival which artistic director is Seiji Ozawa.
In May, she returned to Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall and gave her solo recital with the same program of the Carnegie hall.
In the folloing autumn season, she will perform with Japan philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with Hansjörg Schellenberger, both at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall and Yokohama Minatomirai Hall(as subscription concert), Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Hyogo PAC Orchestra etc. She will also be engaged in he several solo recitals in Yokohama, Hiratsuka, Shizuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagano.
In December,she will be invited again in Moscow with V.Spivakov and will give her first debut of solo recital in St.Peterburg, at the International Winter Festival - "Arts Square" which artistic director is Yuri Temirkanov.

Aimi Kobayashi is now at the age of 16.
She finished at the preparatory division of Toho School of Music as a scholarship student.
In this April 2011, she entered to Toho Gakuen Music High School as a full-scholarship student. She was given special subvention from Tokyo Club. She will be also given the Rome Music Foundation scholarship.
